Localization

Do you know the difference between translation and localization?
Translation consists of transposing the meanings of one language into another one; it is a linguistic conversion that always considers the context and intention of the author.

Localization involves a translation process that goes beyond a perfect grammatical transfer and considers all the nuances and cultural subtleties and adaptations necessary for a given market.

It is localization that brings engagement and identification to the reader, since it allows many aspects of the text to be customized for that target audience, such as date format, address, metric system, specific commemorative dates, telephone number, etc.

It is also possible to localize your content in images by transferring the graphic meanings from one language to another, through a service known as DTP (Desktop Publishing), which R&A also offers, where our in-house team are experts. Effective localization requires knowledge of both languages, cultures and customs of the market that one wants to impact, and all the linguistic issues involved in this process.

Our professionals can help our customers expand their enterprise, making their voice heard and their message arrive noise-free wherever they want to do business.
